Ossining High School

Resources for Club Advisors

After School Club Meeting Attendance form. Please submit this after each club meeting.

All proposed fundraisers for clubs must be submitted and approved. Please see Maria Luca in room 201 to inquire about possible dates and the approval process.

As per school law, fundraisers should generally NOT take place during the school
day (School Law - Section 64:32)

For the purposes of the OUFSD Wellness Policy the “school day” extends until 30 minutes after the end of the last instructional period. Therefore, any foods sold between 2:45 and 3:15 must meet the dietary guidelines referenced in the policy. Food sold after 3:15 will be reviewed but do not have to be within these guidelines.

We are an Allergy Aware School: All food items should have all ingredients plainly listed and those selling them should know all ingredients and common allergens should be avoided. It should also be ensured that there are options for all students. The OUFSD Mandated Staff Allergy Awareness video is located on the District website under Staff/Staff Mandated Videos. Food allergy education videos are available on the District website under Departments/Health Services/Resources/Allergies & Anaphylaxis. You can review the Life-Threatening Allergies and Anaphylaxis Management OUFSD Board Policy here.

For more information about supporting our students in following NYSED guidelines for
club accounts please see the Safeguarding, Accounting, and Auditing of Extraclassroom Activity Funds.
